Measurements were taken with emergency light mounted 6 ft. off floor in car operator panel.  Tenma model 72-6693 light meter was held 4 ft off the floor, 1 ft in front of pushbutton panel.
With alarm button pressed constantly, duration times are decreased by about 40%.
CSA                            CSA approved when used with Werker WKA12-2.3F battery.
Charger                       Solid state automatic constant current charger.  Charges at 100mA.
Monitoring                  Red LED indicating supply is healthy and charging is on

Alarm bell                   not supplied.  Unit will accept either a 6vdc or a 12vdc alarm bell.

Advantages of MES924

1) LEDs almost never burn out.  We offer a lifetime warranty on our LED panel.

2) Draws less current.  The current drawn by our MES924 is about 1/2 that of a typical emergency light with two incandescent lamps.  This means that the same battery will be able to provide light to the elevator for about four times as long, or you may opt to use a much smaller battery.

3) In the rare event that an LED burns out, 4 out of 6 LEDs continue to shine.  The difference in light intensity is hardly noticeable.

4) LEDs are very durable, and ours are soldered firmly in place.  They will not break or come loose in shipping as incandescent lamps often do.

5) Can be used with either a 6v or 12v bell.
