FAQs
1. What makes your PC boards better than any others?
Answer: It is our goal to build the highest quality printed circuit boards available. Our philosophy is to find quality-minded people to join our team, and then instill in them an even greater desire for quality. We purchase only top quality components and bare boards. Our lifetime warranty ensures that if we don’t produce quality products, we are the ones who suffer for it.
2. Who’s lifetime is the warranty good for?
Answer: Each printed circuit board we assemble (with the exception of ROHS-compliant boards) is warrantied forever against defects in parts and workmanship.
3. We have been working with our current PCB Assembly House for several years and have been pleased with the quality of their work. Furthermore, I have always believed that if it is not broken don’t fix it. As a result, why should I currently contemplate making any change?
Answer: Good question! Here’s something to consider - In these difficult economic times, are you sure your current assembly house is financially stable? I know of several assembly houses that are really struggling. It will be even more difficult to make the change if you find yourself in a position where your assembly house goes out of business. Why not use an assembly house that is continuing to grow and prosper, even in a time of recession? The ’07-’08 fiscal year was our best ever, 60% higher than our previous best year! ’08-’09 was our second best year, with 90% of the sales of the previous year. So far, this year is better than either of the two previous years. I would encourage you to compare Dun & Bradstreet reports between your current supplier and Mathis Electronics.
4. I can get the same board that you are bidding on at a lower cost. Therefore isn’t it good business sense to go with the lower cost?
Answer: It depends on what you’re manufacturing. For example, if you’re making an electronic child’s toy to be given away with a kid’s meal at a fast food restaurant, you need to buy the cheapest pc boards you can find. But if you’re manufacturing serious electronic equipment that is expected to have a reasonable life expectancy, isn’t it worth paying a little extra to get a high quality pc board with a lifetime warranty? This is especially true if you provide any kind of warranty on the products you manufacture.
